Story That Inspires
The oils that are normally used in the kitchen on an everyday basis are extracted from seeds, nuts, fruits, and vegetables. From coconut oil to sesame oil, the process of extracting oil has direct relation to how the extracted oil tastes, smells and the amount of nutrients it provides the body; The oil extracting process also has a major effect on not only the taste and smell of the food, but also on the health of individuals. Because it truly needs to rid the world of diseases and take the world to the golden age where there are no diseases.
This may sound like a clever marketing ploy, but there were genuine reasons behind the foundation of this oil company. Many people do not know that the founder of the company had type-2 diabetes and went through two Bariatric surgeries.
During the surgery, it was found that fat lumps had formed in her body. The doctor advised her to take oil extracted from a wooden churner. They brought wood churner oil from many places, but they realized that it was not pure. She thought, Many like her may have suffered from this same condition. Then she decided to start a wood churner oil production business. In August 2018, she took training for the wooden churner oil making process. After completion of the training, Triveni Oil and Food Products was launched on 18th December 2018. With the main goal is to make pure oil available to everyone.

Our Story Story Story
The founder of the company, Shubhangi Vasantrao Choudhar, had type 2 diabetes and had to undergo bariatric surgery. Doctors had given up hope and told her that she had only four months to live. Her family was advised to plan accordingly. At the same time, her husband and some close family members were also suffering from heart diseases and other life-threatening conditions, while her father-in-law was suffering from paralysis.
In such a scenario, all the doctors had one common recommendation: to stop consuming oils containing chemicals. The Choudhar family then started using commercially available cold-pressed oils in their daily cooking. However, they soon realized that the products were not pure enough and had further worsened their health conditions. During this phase, Shubhangi Choudhar had to undergo bariatric surgery for the second time. After her surgery, realizing the seriousness of her health condition, she undertook a Government of India-designed course conducted by Khadi Gram Udyog for the production of wooden-churned oil. She received training in the entire process, from selecting raw materials and maintaining hygienic operations in the plant to storing and packaging the final product.
The idea of establishing this company was thus formed, with the betterment of people suffering from heart and obesity-related diseases at its core. The need of the hour was to provide people with pure, wooden-churned oils for daily consumption so that they would not have to go through the same trials and tribulations that the family had experienced. This mission is being ably fulfilled by Triveni Oil and Food Products.
